How Does a Peel & Reveal Mural Work?

Peel & Reveal Murals are a special type of collaborative art project designed by Rachel Babineau. They are large artworks with a "hidden image" that has been masked underneath a layer of white paint. Participants will be invited to paint what appears to be a blank canvas, when in fact they are painting over the masked design. At the end of the event the masked areas of the design are peeled away to reveal an image that is a combination of crisp white lines and the painting done by participants.
